Warm Audio WA87JR FET Condenser Mic (Black)

The Warm Audio WA-87jr (Black) brings the iconic sound of the classic ‘87-style condenser into a modern, streamlined package. Built around a dual-backplate, large-diaphragm K87-style capsule-faithfully modeled after the most famous studio microphone capsule in history-the WA-87jr delivers pristine highs, detailed midrange, and tight low-end response. This tonal profile has made the ‘87-style mic a favorite for vocals, instruments, and broadcast applications for decades.

Pairing its vintage-accurate capsule with a transformerless, fully discrete FET circuit, the WA-87jr offers ultra-low self-noise (9dBA) and clean, polished sound for any application. With three selectable polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8), a -10 dB pad for high-volume sources, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter for reducing low-frequency rumble, this mic is as versatile as it is sonically refined. Finished in a bold matte black housing, the WA-87jr combines studio-grade performance with a modern aesthetic perfect for both professional and personal recording spaces
