The Warm Audio WA-87jr SE (Black) brings the polished clarity and iconic tone of the classic ‘87-style microphone into a simplified, fixed-cardioid design. Built around a single-backplate K87-style capsule-the same capsule design found in Warm Audio's flagship WA-87 studio mic-the WA-87jr SE captures pristine highs, focused mids, and smooth detail, making it ideal for vocals, instruments, podcasts, and streaming.
With its transformerless, fully discrete circuit, the WA-87jr SE delivers the warmth of vintage capsule design with modern performance advantages, including ultra-low self-noise (9 dBA), wide dynamic range, and a clean, articulate signal path. Its fixed cardioid pickup pattern provides natural isolation, helping creators and musicians achieve professional results even in untreated rooms. Finished in a sleek matte black housing, the WA-87jr SE offers a modern, understated aesthetic that feels right at home in both professional studios and home setups.
